I’m kinda new at this, so I offer this tidbit with utmost humility! 🙂 I used the GE light bulb coupon found here which is $1.50/1. Not sure if I did it right, but it worked and I walked out of the store having made a little money!

I’m also a newbie! I wasn’t able to walk away with any extra ECBs but I did get $38.79 worth of products for $1.64 out of pocket…Here’s what I did today:
Transaction 1 I bought 2 Oust, used B1G1 coupon from 1/3 inserts, total was $3.99 + tax but I used $3.50 ECBs to pay so my OOP was $.49 + $.52 tax; I got $6 ECBs for buying 2 Oust
Transaction 2 Used the $6 ECBs from #1 to buy 6pk of Soyjoy bars, got $6 ECBs back, paid $.06 OOP
Transaction 3 I bought 1 bag of holiday M&Ms at $0.99 and 2 ALL detergents for $3.99, used $3 off 2 coupon from 1/3 inserts and ECBs from Transaction 2, my subtotal was zero but tax was $.57 OOP

    THANKS FOR ALL YOUR INFORMATION!!

It’s not in the weekly sales ad. I was looking at the bonus pack section and the air fresheners were right near it in my store and I noticed the ECB tag and remembered that I had some B1G1 coupons from last week’s sunday inserts.

I just got back from CVS and wanted to mention that although the packaging on the oust says limit 3, I purchased 4 and got $12 ECB. I’m not sure if it was a fluke, or if the limit is really higher? My receipt says I have 1 more to reach my limit, so maybe the limit is really 5? Just wondering if anyone else had this happen? Thanks so much

The supervisor rang me up and he “warned” that I would not get ecb’s for all 4 Oust but I had Bogo free coupons so I told him that’s ok. Well They did give me $3 ebc’s for each Oust. So I got $12 too.

    • Alyssa Francis says

Ha! That’s funny, Crystal. He is wrong, using a BOGO will not affect ECBs at all at CVS. We know better. 😉

  5. Amanda says

Hi I was wonderng if anyone knows if you can use a CVScoupon and a Manufactor coupon on the same item? ( like target allows)

I’m New to this couponing thing so all extra ifo would be great.

    • Alyssa Francis says

Hi Amanda- Yes, you sure can! CVS does allow you to “stack” a store coupon with a manufacturer coupon. You can even pay with ECB’s on top of that, so it’s a fantastic way to save big!

  6. Priscilla says

My son had a horrible dentist visit and as a treat I was able to pick him up 2 toys for practically FREE because of this CVS challenge! Thank you and I love your website!
