It is so funny that you wrote about this. Just this morning I was thinking about how one of the recurring arguments in our first year of marriage was over the fact that Joe could not remember to refill the Brita pitcher that I keep in the fridge after he used it. I require about 10 cups of cold water a day to keep 'happy' and Joe just did not get it!!!

after about 3 years it finally got through my hard head that Joe, bless his heart, will probably never remember to keep that pitcher full. And now, 10 years later I can laugh at myself for how difficult it was for me to forgive him.

Now Joe knows he can live in the 'freedom' of forgetting to fill up the pitcher, and our house is a much happier place (maybe I don't always have cold water but...I choose happy of cold water any day!!!)

so plan that trip northward. but I'm afraid my girl would never forgive you if you didn't at least bring a couple of your girls with you...and let me tell you she definitely won't forget it if you don't bring them to play with her :)!!! (we are still working on the forgiveness thing with her!!)
