    I just had a question about these scenarios. You always seem to walk away with ECBs and RRs, so why do you not include those in the next weeks scenarios? Do you buy something else with them during the week? I was just curious. I had been wondering about that for some time now.

      @Amanda, That’s a great question, Amanda. My goal with the challenges has always been to help and inspire the newbies. So each week, someone completely new to CVS or Wags can jump in and spend under $5 to get started playing the drugstore “game”.

      But you have a very valid point, and perhaps I should add another scenario each week for those with ECB’s or RR’s from the week before.

      Thanks for your feedback! 🙂

        @Alyssa Francis, I’ve started doing the same with my scenarios. I want them to reflect the deals newbies are able to take advantage of. My actual out of pocket is less the previous week’s remaining ECBs.

        @Alyssa Francis,

        Thats great! I’m just getting my blog started up and I know some of my readers are new because they are my family who are always asking how I do that, so I haven’t really decided the best way to go about doing the posts yet, so I’ve just been showing exactly what I got and with what coupons. I put my post from today in up there as number 10. I’ve never linked a post up before, but I thought this was an especially good week. =)

    i love the scenarios the way they are i go to other pages sometimes to see other scenarios and they start with a lot of EBCs when you don’t have them or you are a newbie is hard to follow or to use that as a shopping list

    I did pretty good this week. I bought 8 items, spent $6.98 before tax and I have $9 in extra bucks for next week, or my next visit. :0)

    Since many people are reporting getting a $5 off $15 on their receipts (I got one Sunday with my FREE milk coupon) I included that in my first transaction. Also, I got $2 off Dove, and only paid $0.50! I’m more excited about that than 6 FREE Dove deodorants.!

    I made a short video (link #9) to help those visual learners, too. Check it out!

    My question is, do you go to the register letting the casheir know that you are diving up your purchases in more than one transaction? Do they ever give you a hard time for doing this? I typically use all my ECBs to use the following week but I like that you use them the same day and are OOP minimally. 🙂
