Welcome, my fellow CVS fanatics and newbies! It’s time for our weekly CVS $5 Challenge. The place to go for simple CVS scenarios with step-by-step instructions.

All you need is an ExtraCare Card, a CVS ad, a printer and coupons to get started. Be sure to register your CVS loyalty card with Upromise for extra college savings.

Buy 1 Crest Toothpaste @ $1.99
– $0.75/1 Crest Toothpaste or Liquid Gel (PG insert 06/05/11 or 07/03/11)

Total After Coupon= $1.24

ECBs earned= $1.00

Transaction #2
Buy 2 Oral-B Indicator Toothbrush @ $1.99 ea.
– $2.00/1 Oral-B Pulsar, CrossAction, Advantage, or (2) Indicator or Cavity Defense Manual Toothbrushes (PG insert 07/03/11)
Pay with $1.00 ECB’s from above

Total After Coupon and ECB’s= $0.98

ECBs earned=$2.00

Grand Total OOP= $2.22

Total Value= $5.97 with $2.00 ECBs remaining.

Keep rolling those ECBs for more savings!

    I love reading the $5 Challenges. My challenge for this week was a score.
    1-Gillette Fusion Power ProGlide Razor $9.99
    1-Proglide Razor $18.29
    Less2-$4 off coupons, $10 ECB, and 35% coupon (this printed after a previous transaction)
    Final O.O.P $5.89
    $2, $4 ECB for next week.
