I hope you have had a fantastic Thursday! Mine started out a little rough, but we ended it on a great note. It is Day 4 of my series, 31 Days of Young Living Essential Oils, and I am having SO much fun sharing these oils with you!

>>> If this is your first visit, please read my initial post before continuing. :)

I may end up saying this a lot, but the oil I’m introducing you to tonight is one of my favorites. I love how it smells, and it has become somewhat of an addiction for me. Ha! It really is one of those oils that you just fall in love with and use all. the. time.

Valor is actually an essential oil blend that combines Spruce, Rosewood, Blue Tansy, and Frankincense essential oils. This wonderful-smelling blend is formulated to help empower the mind and increase self confidence.* Valor is great for those times when you need a little bit of extra courage (every day in my case!), and is easily applied neat to the bottom of the big toe. {Side note: the bottom of your big toe is the Vitaflex point that sends signals to your brain. Pretty cool, right?!}

As I said, I use Valor a lot; at the very least, twice a day. I like to begin my day with a good sniff (inhaling is a quick way to get the oily vibes going), and a drop massaged onto my big toe. Sometimes I go all out and dab a bit on the back of my neck where I can continue to smell it’s amazing, uplifting scent. The girls love this oil too, and we use it every night, by applying it to their big toe before bed. Designed to increase feelings of strength and courage*, this is a great oil to use before bed to help you rest well.

We have been taking Cam to the chiropractor, and he hates it. I usually apply Valor and Tranquil roll-on to the bottom of his feet before and during his appointment, but I forgot my oils yesterday. And boy, could I tell a difference without the oils. The chiro did less on him this week and even though the appointment was shorter, he hated it. Last week was an entirely different story. He wasn’t thrilled to be “held down,” but he was so much calmer, even though that appointment was much more intensive. The only difference was that he had oils during the longer appointment. This wasn’t the only instance I’ve forgotten my oils (oops… sometimes I grab the wrong bag!), and every time, it’s not pleasant. The verdict? Valor works on my son.

If you forced me to choose my top five oils, Valor would be on that list. It’s that awesome. And if you need even more awesome, you can snag this in an ah-may-zing roll-on applicator. I know. It doesn’t get much more fantastic than that. ;)

Before using Young Living Essential Oils, I highly recommend you find someone local (or you are welcome to contact me!) for more education on using these wonderful, powerful oils. I have a monthly class (sometimes, bi-monthly), where we go over the proper usage of these amazing products. Knowledge is power, right?

    I love, love,LOVE the smell of Valor but haven’t quite known how to make full use of it. I certainly didn’t know about the big toe application point. Thanks for the tip! I’m going start using it daily and see what happens. I had bought the roller applicator one for my husband a couple of years ago because his job was stressful, but he doesn’t use it. I’m officially making it mine.

      Hi Alison! The big toe is my favorite way to apply Valor, but I have friends who also apply it to their wrists and the back of the neck. Valor also comes in a roll-on, or you could always purchase a roller to pop on the regular bottle to make it easier to travel with. :)

      Thanks for visiting!
