It has been awhile since I posted a shopping trip, as we have been eating out of the pantry and freezer stock lately. I also haven’t been purchasing newspapers, so I missed out on a few great coupons.
Homeland had some good deals, so I thought I would snag a few of them, as well as, pick up some produce to make salsa.
The “deals” are not as plentiful as they used to be, as we have been trying to eat better. You can find lots of coupons for healthy, organic items, but some of those items are still “junk.” Plus, you have to have a store that carries a variety of organic items. This is not the case with my local store. They carry a small amount of organic milk, and I *think* I have seen organic red potatoes before. That’s about all it amounts to here.
