1. When my mood needs lifting, I love to diffuse Lemon. I also diffuse it when I want that “clean” scent in my home.

2. Lemon is also good for mental clarity, and so I like to diffuse it during homeschool.

3. You can use a drop to remove sticky residue or gummy labels from jars. It is also an excellent degreaser when mixed with soap.

4. Add a few drops to a cotton ball and toss it in your vacuum cleaner bag for a fresh scent, or use in the laundry if you’ve left you towels in the washer too long. It helps remove the stink!

5. Lemon is fantastic cleaning fruits and vegetables, as well as, counter-tops and cutting boards. Simply add a few drops to a bowl of water and wash your fruits in it. Rinse well. Mix a few drops with water and add to a spray bottle to clean counter-tops.

Guess what?! This is an older post, and as of 2016, we now have Orange essential oil and Orange Vitality essential oil! What’s the difference, you ask? It’s the same oil with different labels… one label (regular ole Orange) for topical and aromatic use and the other, has a new white label for internal use.

Lemon Vitality adds a bright, dynamic flavor to many dishes. Its versatility in sweet and savory recipes is what makes this fruit a popular item in kitchens around the world. Use Young Living’s Lemon Vitality™ essential oil to add flavor to savory foods like fish and chicken or sweet foods like pastries and cakes. It is also a great addition to fruit dip. Lemon Vitality oil has a bright taste you’ll want to keep on hand for almost anything you whip up.
