Hello, I was inspired by your blog and your challenge to begin couponing this week for the first time. This is what I did at CVS:
Colgate toothpaste $2.49
$1/1 colgate toothpaste 6/5
-$1.49 +$2ECB
Colgate toothpaste $2.49
$.75/1 colgate toothpaste 6/5
-$1.74 paid with $2ECB above +$2ECB
Crest Pro Health Rinse 1L $4.50
$2/1 Crest Rinse 6/5
-$2.50 paid $.50 after $2ECB above +$2.50ECB
I was so bummed that my CVS was sold out of the Excedrin 8ct so I couldn’t add two of those to my free bees, and then I lost one of my Crest Rinse coupons somewhere in the store! (I was shopping with a two year old.)
All told I spent $2.24 with the tax on each item but left the store with a $2.50ECB to start with next week. I can’t wait!
