{About}

Hi there! And Welcome :)

My name is Amy, and I am a work-at-home mom to four girls ages 20, 6, 4, and 20 months. My oldest is “adopted in love,” and is in her freshman year of college. My husband and I homeschool our other three littles, and are blessed to live in the same small town where we grew up (but we didn’t grow up together).

Almost eight years ago, I married a man; two years later, he turned into a youth pastor. The funny thing is, as I was growing up, the ONE thing I did NOT want to be was a pastor’s wife. The moral of this story? Our Father has an amazing sense of humor, and never, ever tell Him, “never.” Ahem.

Anywho, I love coffee {HELLO, Keurig… I will be happy to review anything you’ll give me… HA!}, gardening, writing, my church family, my amazing friends, red shoes, high heels, my silly girls, southern Oklahoma (that would be where I live… y’all…), cooking, Tuesday youth lunches, my sweet hubby, and my priceless Jesus.

You can find me here, writing about homeschooling, marriage, ministry, couponing, frugality and whatever strikes my fancy.  You can also find this unlikely pastor’s wife tweeting @AmyLNorton, on Facebook AmyLovesIt, and keeping track of my beloved iPhone.
