Crayola Pop Art Pixies {Giveaway}

Crayola has been a part of my life as long as I can remember. Now as the mother of two crafty, art-loving girls, our home is never lacking in crayons. My ten year old is now beyond the coloring book stage, so I was pleased to discover Crayola’s new wholesome line just for girls in her age group, Pop Art Pixies.

This new activity kit line invites tween girls to enter a world of self-discovery and creativity through the lives of the Pop Art Pixies. These best buds each have their own special interest that sets them apart, giving tweens a chance to find a virtual pal in one or even all of them. Girls can get to know the Pop Art Pixies as they enjoy their online world at PopArtPixies.com and by adding their own creative touch to one of the 14 Pop Art Pixies craft projects.

My girls had the opportunity to test drive several of the kits courtesy of My Blog Spark. I noticed right away that the items are not cheap, throwaway parts as you often see in such kits. Sara personalized a glass pendant and I was impressed with the look and feel. The finished products are useful and worth keeping!

    All of the kits look like fun, but I think the water bottle would get the most use. I love to make crafts with my kids and we are always looking for new ideas. Crafts and cooking with the kids is a great way to spend quality time and create wonderful memories (and photographs!)

    Always excited to hear about innovative new craft supplies and project as we have always had a “Kids’ craft cupboard” in our kitchen since my kids were 1 & 2 and these days with 2 girls, ages 8 & 3, the doors are always open and projects are always flowing!! My 8 year old would LOVE Naoimi’s Stationary Box Kit as she enjoys writing letters to her friends in Texas!

    The water bottle kit – We have a park on our street and the children are also taking water bottles along on their bikes. This year they are starting baseball so it would be a very handy addition to our family.
