There is nothing that exemplifies a miracle quite like the birth of a child. In celebration of its 50th birthday, Pampers is recognizing how much parenting has changed over the years, and is sharing their belief that every baby is a little miracle that deserves to be celebrated, supported and protected, by unveiling its Little Miracle Mission campaign – a program that delivers acts of kindness to miracles and their families while encouraging parents to support others.
Parents everywhere can easily participate in the Miracles Missions programs, and support little miracles across the country, by logging on to Pampers Facebook page (Facebook.com/Pampers). There you can accept the mission and make a pledge for a chance to win free diapers and wipes for a year!
Pampers also invited me and Keeping the Kingdom First readers to get involved in these random acts of kindness, too. I was challenged to find a way to celebrate, support or protect a new little miracle in my community with a $50 American Express Gift Card. Pampers is also offering a second gift card as a giveaway to challenge one reader with the same mission.
I knew immediately how to use my $50. There is a wonderful pregnancy crisis center in my community that provides free sonograms and support to young women facing unplanned pregnancies. They even supply diapers and supplies to moms who choose life. Since they rely heavily on donations, I ordered a huge pack of diapers and wipes and had them shipped directly to the center. Those diapers will truly bless “little miracles”.
Would you like an opportunity to “pay-it-forward”? There are so many in need right now after this week’s devastating tornadoes. Fifty dollars can go a long way if you get creative.

If I won, I would give the card to my younger sister who is a breast cancer survivor of over 5 years. She still has bills that have not been paid and every little bit helps. What a wonderful way to show someone you love them! I’m sure whoever wins, this money will be a blessing – thank you for the opportunity to win!

I would give this card to a local family in need with a little one in diapers. They are a blessing to us and the community and get by on very little.

If I won, I would give it to a ministry at our church that prints Bibles and scriptures for missionaries around the world. What better way to pay it forward than to share the gospel of Christ.

How would you use $50 to bless another?
Our local crisis center is always in need of size 4-6 diapers. So I would find a great sale, gather all the coupons I could, and buy SO many diapers for $50!!
I run a food bank at my church by myself… I would definitely use the $50 to buy groceries for the families we help!

I would give it to Life Network, the local crisis pregnancy center here. They have an annual fundraising walk coming up that I am participating in, but have been hesitant to solicit donations from friends/family since money is so tight for most everyone these days.

I would send it to Peace Lutheran Church in Joplin, MO. Their church was destroyed by the torando.

I would use this $50 to buy items for my local pregnancy crisis center. I just received a letter from them today ask dor my monetary support; however in this tough economy I can’t afford to donate any of my personal money. With this gift card I would use my minimal couponing skills to create a donation bigger than the 50.

I would donate the card to our local community health clinic to use for items in the Baby Corner. This center is the only place in our community who will accept Medicaid and will take any pregnant woman no matter how many spaces they have open. This clinic is the only source of health care in our county for foster children. As a foster parent, I cannot express how grateful I am for their service to those most in need our community. I was so impressed by their committment to care and awesome treatment of our foster children, that I now serve on the board of directors. Parents who attend well baby checks, pregnancy appointments, and immunization appointments earn bucks to use in the Baby Corner. Once a week, parents line up for up to an hour before the doors open to try to “purchase” car seats, diapers, and a myriad of other items. Our community would be at a loss without this wonderful place.

I know an unwed mom who could use some help.
I would would buy diapers and wipes and donate it to the Pregnancy Care Center I volunteer for. The need is great in this economy. Such thing as diapers can help a girl in a crisis pregnancy to make a decision to give life to her baby.
There is a woman my in our church married to an abusive husband and living as a family of 5 in a 1-bedroom apartment. I would give it to her. What a great giveaway!

I try to donate pet food to the Caleb Group in town when I can. They have a Pet Pantry to help the senior citizens. It’s hard on a limited income for senior citizens to keep their pets.

I’d give this GC to my cousin who is going to have a baby in Oct. He is only 17. When he told us he is going to get married last year. All of my family told him ” Don’t do it !” Yet, he got married and now they are expecting a kid. He is just like a star on 16 and pregnant. I think they could use all the help we could give them.

A former coworker’s son (who just turned 2) was recently diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder which is slowly killing him. Armand mostly will not make it more than another 10 years, if he’s lucky. His family is spending every red cent to pay for his medical care (one of his medications is $30,000 a year out of pocket!). He is in several research studies which require cross country trips and a month at a time staying in a children’s hospital. This $50.00 won’t “change” their lives, but it would definitely help them pay a bill or buy some groceries and take their minds off of those worries, if just for a minute.
