Another result of the survey you wonderful readers took for me, I have decided to share what our family has been up to each week. This is a way for you to get to know me without having gobs of “personal” type posts.

This week started out rough, with Reese having an upset tummy Saturday night. Abby Grace also went to bed sick that night, only she had a fever and a cough. By Sunday afternoon, Reese was feeling much better, but Abby Grace had a fever off and on all day long. Monday was a much better day, and we thought we were over it, as there was no fever or upset tummy in sight. Monday night proved us wrong when Reese got sick again, and Abby Grace’s throat began hurting.

We went back and forth, and finally everyone was feeling well on Thursday.

Whew.

On Wednesday, Meleah and I were the only ones up (well, Cam was awake too), and I was cooking bacon to go with our eggs. She asked if she could make the eggs, so she did. She cracked them (it was hilarious to watch), stirred them up, added them to the pan (I was right there), and cooked them. She asked me to finish cooking them, as they were sticking and giving her a hard time. I was so proud of my little girl!

Saturday was busy, with Abby Grace and Reese having basketball games, and I had a Classical Conversations practicum. My dad went with Shane and the girls to the games and they had a great time! I took Cam with me, and he was definitely a hit with the ladies at the practicum.

What I’m Reading:

I currently have lots of reading time, as Cam likes to nurse at least every two hours. Here is what I am reading:

Deep & Wide: Creating Churches Unchurched People Love to Attend, by Andy Stanley

French Kids Eat Everything: How Our Family Moved to France, Cured Picky Eating, Banned Snacking, and Discovered 10 Simple Rules for Raising Happy, Healthy Eaters, by Karen Le Billon

The Good Life for Less: Giving Your Family Great Meals, Good Times, and a Happy Home on a Budget, by Amy Allen Clark

Desperate: Hope for the Mom Who Needs to Breathe, by Sarah Mae

I got a few of these book ideas from Mandi’s reading list. Ssshhh… don’t tell her! {wink} I’ll probably steal a few more in the months to come!

The Plan for Next Week:

We start the new CC semester on Tuesday, and we are all excited about that. Since everyone was sick last week, Monday will be our first day back to homeschool after the Christmas break. Hopefully we will be able to get back to our routine. I need some normalcy!
