What I’m Reading

In an effort to better prepare myself for Abby Grace’s upcoming Essentials class, I am geeking out with these books: Our Mother Tongue, by Nancy Wilson and Grammar and Diagramming Sentences.

Our Week

I didn’t get one of these up last week. After a very successful garage sale, I had a headache for two days. That’s always fun! But this week was much better, and Shane and I worked on a new budget and are very close to becoming debt-free. We are beyond excited about this, as we have several saving ideas we are tossing around.

American Girl Store

American Girl with my girls!

On Monday, Shane and I met up with Abby Grace and Shane’s parents and sister at the American Girl Store in Dallas. Abby had been before, but the rest of us had not. We had such a good time! The girls had spending money (and a budget!) and I’m proud to say they spent their own money and stuck to their spending limit. They may or may not have talked their Papa into getting them an AG doll for Christmas, though!

Cam has finally decided to eat a few foods, his current favorite being blueberry pancakes. The boy devoured them. He made noises and everything. I love seeing how he reacts to things differently than his sisters did at this age. It’s hilarious how so very different boys and girls (at least mine!) are!

Coming Up

I actually had a DIY project that came out looking good, so I will be sharing that tomorrow 🙂 Also, I’ll give you guys a peek at our “school room” and show you a little about where we “do” school {wink}.

Have a great weekend!
