Super Saturday Savings

May 30, 2009

Woo-hoo!!!  I am telling you I hit the jackpot this week.  Seriously, I am beyond excited about my Homeland shopping trips this week.  I got a TON of free Kraft BBQ sauce, Kraft salad dressing, and 50¢ cereal.

Shopping Trip #1

25615 boxes of cereal @ 50¢ each = $7.50

2668 Tombstone Pizzas @ $2.33 ea (will submit for rebate), BOGO Oscar Meyer weiners, 4 pkgs Kraft Naturals cheese @ 99¢ ea, $1.18 breadsticks, and 98¢ toast.

270FREE Cascade Rinse (from the Home Made Simple booklet), $1.99 Snuggle, FREE Wet Ones, FREE Chinet napkins, and 50¢ Chinet plates.

27190¢ buns, FREE Kraft BBQ sauce, FREE Kraft salad dressing, and 50¢ Dole fruit cups.

Total Value = $209.79   *   Total OOP = $45.87   *   Total Savings = $163.92 or 84%

265Here are some of the items I purchased for our mission trip in a few weeks… more FREE BBQ sauce and FREE salad dressing.  I did have to pay for a few of these, but last time I checked, 79¢ for BBQ sauce isn’t a bad price.  More 90¢ buns (will freeze these), 99¢ cheese, Pork Loin for $7.15.  Not pictured – $1.69/lb ground beef; more buns, dressing, and BBQ sauce (what we do not use for the mission trip will be used for camp); 5/$12 12-pk Pepsi, and 8 pkgs of FREE Bar-S weiners.

Total Value – $107.09   *   Total OOP = $57.68   *   Total Savings = $49.41 or 47%

Shopping Trip #2

002$2.99 Russet potatoes; FREE Coffeemate; $1.99 Wheat bread; $2.99/lb Chicken (used 55¢ Q that doubled!) – spent $7.60 on 3.28 lbs of skinless, boneless breasts; $3/2 Blackberries; FREE Dawn; 9¢ Dawn; and FREE Peanut Butter.

Total Value = $43.12   *   Total OOP = $19.94   *   Total Savings = $31.19 or 61%

Now.  How did I snag all of these great deals?

:: For the first shopping trip (includes the mission trip items), I hit a WONDERFUL sale at Homeland.  Homeland doubles coupons $1 and below, so that helped me save even more.  I had several $1 coupons, which led to not only free items, but overage on some items!

:: Unfortunately, Homeland is changing their coupon policy, but so far, the AMAZING cashiers at my store have been fine with my multiple transactions.  But, I ALWAYS ASK FIRST, because I do not want to cause a problem or get anyone in trouble.  I have the BEST cashiers at my Homeland, and I want them to continue to like me ;)

:: Also on the first trip, I used Amanda’s Homeland shopping list here and here (that includes links to printable coupons!) and most of my Kraft coupons from a few weeks ago.  You can still snag your Kraft Q’s on the Kraft site or on the Coupons.com site.

:: I have also requested my Home Made Simple coupon booklet.  It has $30 worth of HIGH VALUE coupons in it (that is how I got FREE Cascase Rinse… there is a coupon for it).  You can request your booklet here.

:: For the second trip, I purchased only sale items, and used Amanda’s Homeland shopping list.  I used a coupon for $1 off of Dawn from the Home Made Simple booklet.  I also used $1 coupons (from various newspaper inserts) for the peanut butter, $1 coupons for the Coffeemate, and a 50¢/1 Dawn coupon.  Everything else was on sale.

Have no enough cash to buy some real estate? Don’t worry, just because it is real to get the loans to solve all the problems. Therefore take a collateral loan to buy everything you require.
