So my squash and cucumber plants have taken over the garden.
Ahem.
Their leaves smashed my poor spinach plants.
I would like to blame the plants themselves, but I’m pretty sure it was poor planning on the gardener’s part.
{Gonna fire that gardener.}
But look at this beauty that I pulled from the garden this morning.
If this is a sign of things to come, we will be swimming in squash.
And cucumbers.
And potatoes.
Garden is doing well. A small setback from the wind rain and hail storm two days ago, but I think we’re still on track. I have full size peppers, and everything else is still small. Can’t wait!
That’s marvelous! You must be very pleased.
My herbs are doing very well. The veggies not so much. I am going to plant some new ones this week. We’ve had crazy weather here so they haven’t handled the hot/cold switches too easily. I look forward to hearing more about your garden. It’s sad the spinach didn’t make it but think of all you can do with that squash!
