Diaper bargains are harder and harder to come by these days. Not everyone agrees with my diaper shopping philosophy, so just try to find what works for you. The good news is, there are tons are diaper coupons out there, you just have to get your hands on as many as possible. Then, when they go on sale, stockpile like crazy! I have already stockpiled tons of Pull-Ups for my 2 year old, and have yet to start potty training.
A little known fact: you can exchange unopened packs of diapers for a different size, if necessary. Try to stockpile lots of size 3’s, most babies wear these for many months. If you are pregnant or have recently had a baby, sign up online at all the major brand websites to receive diaper coupons by mail. These show up faithfully in my mailbox once a month, and have a higher value than coupons found in the Sunday paper. Another little know fact, is that the generic brand packs have a “satisfaction guaranteed” policy, so if you are not happy with them, simply return them for a full refund. A few generic that I have no complaints about: Albertson’s Baby Basics, Wal-mart White Cloud Supreme. I buy these when I am out of good coupons, but that is a rarity.
Remember that a diaper is something your baby poops and pees in, and then you throw it away! Brand name should really not be all that important, unless you have a child with very sensitive skin. I have found that blow-outs occur with all major diaper brands, not just the cheap ones, so just accept that they are inevitable. Remember to use your precious coupons on the smaller packs.
Currently, the best deal I have seen is $7.99 for a Jumbo Pack of Pampers at Kroger, if you buy 3. Combined with coupons, I paid $6.49 per pack- not too shabby for Pampers! I will let you know if I spot a good Huggies deal, or comment here if you find one first!

Mine are out of diapers now, thank goodness, but that’s some helpful advice you have!
