When I first started couponing, I did a lot of things wrong. So… you all get to learn from my mistakes!
Tip #2:
Designate a special area in your home just for your coupon supplies.
Examples:
coupon binder, dividers, page protectors, box, accordion file, scissors, calculator, pens, labels, inserts, highlighters, weekly ads, and of course, any and all coupons.
Why is this so important? Because your home can quickly become full of little piles of stuff if you do not contain them. I learned this the hard way, and had different coupons all over the place. I would go crazy trying to find a particular coupon, because I had no idea which pile it was in.
I now have a special desk, just for me and my coupons. This is especially important if you are not an organized person by nature, which I am not.
You may notice I am not including a photo, since my desk looks rather frightening at the moment.
