Thanks to Mommy Snacks for the heads up on this. A few times a year, there are no coupon inserts in the Sunday paper. This weekend is one of those times (insert gasp of horror here).
As a result, there will most likely not be a Grocery Game list this week, which is how I find most of my deals. So… here is my plan:
1. Using my newly acquired coupon crazy skills, I will find my own deals this week using nothing but my trusty coupon binder and store ad inserts. I will gladly share the best deals I come across, and many other bloggers will be doing the same.
2. I will do my best to enjoy the many weeks of stockpiles I already have in my pantry to plan my menu. And, I certainly will not run out of laundry detergent, toothpaste or deodorant, thanks to the Grocery Game.
3. Most importantly, I will enjoy my family, my church, and celebrate the Resurrection. The lack of coupons is a blessing, as I want my heart focused on the LORD.
“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he has risen!” Luke 24:5-6
Happy Easter!
