When I glanced at this week’s ad, I was not terribly excited. The deals were lighter than usual. So, I was thrilled when I actually realized what I scored throughout the week!

Tide is my favorite laundry detergent, and it does not come cheap. We always need pasta sauce, and hubby goes through peanut butter like water. The brownies, cookies, and vitamins rounded out my week quite nicely.

Here’s the breakdown, in 3 transactions:

Receipt #1:
1 Ragu sauce
1 Tide
2 Revlon nail polish

Used $3/15 coupon
2 $2 off Revlon
$1 off Tide
.25 off Ragu
Paid: $6, $3 ECB
Total OOP: 0.22
Saved: $19.84
Earned: $2, $6 ECB

Receipt #2
1 box Lipton Tea
1 Tide
2 Nature’s Bounty Vitamins (BOGO)
1 box Absolutely Divine cookies (hubby loves these)

Used $3/15 coupon
0.35 off Tide
0.50 off Lipton
2 $1 off vitamins
Paid: $5, $2, $2 ECB
Total OOP: 0.92
Saved: $24.33
Earned: $2 ECB

Receipt #3
2 Ragu
2 Skippy
1 Excedrin
1 Orapik traveler (May deal)
2 Betty Crocker brownies (May deal)

Used $3/15 coupon
$1 off Betty Crocker
$2 off Excedrin
Paid: $6, $2 ECB
Total OOP: 0.56
Saved: $24.96
Earned: $3, $2.79, $2 ECB

Grand Total OOP: $1.70!!! Woo hoo!

By the way, I always pay with the loose change I dig out of my purse or wallet, so for me the $1.70 does not actually come out of our monthly budget.

Total Saved: $69.13

June is finally here! I am looking forward to a whole new month of fun at CVS.
