Since I am back in Orange County this week for a visit, I am stopping by a few of my old favorite places. Of course, I just had to hit Trader Joe’s and stock up on some delicious food.
The above photo is the actual store we visited, in Crystal Cove. Look closely and you may recognize the back of my hubby’s head, along with Leah and my Mom.
For those blessed with a local Trader Joe’s, you know what I’m talking about. Low prices, no gimmicks, healthy ingredients, and organic selections.
Trader Joe’s, if you are listening, please come to Texas! I miss ya’!

Sniff. Thank you for the moment of nostalgia. Ever since moving to Alaska, we have thought it would be just about perfect if only there were a Trader Joe’s. 🙂

I sooo miss Trader Joe’s!!! I’m very jealous.
I love, love, love having 2 Trader Joes in the area (even if they are each an hour away – totally worth it). I have been trying a natural food co-op with really good prices, but didn’t order anything this month, because I keep finding better deals at Trader Joes. I tell everyone about it, and am amazed at how many around here don’t take advantage, because I know there are so many people who would love to be near a Trader Joes. Since they are an hour away, we stock up when we go, shopping there only about once a month or less. The cashiers cringe when they see me coming with my full cart, I think!
I love TJs too… It is amazing how inexpensive they are… I avoided them for a while because I assumed they were a high-priced store, but really they are very reasonable!
