Sorry, dear readers, I am running behind. My Flip Video Giveaway closed on Wednesday. Now I have the difficult job of selecting my 10 favorite entries!
Y’all really outdid yourselves! I have over 130 vlog ideas to go through. This is taking a bit longer than I planned. Of course, pregnancy is not helping!
A few observations:
Several of the entries had similar themes. I figured this would happen, although no one could read the entries except yours truly. In this situation, I will combine my favorite similar entries and randomly select one as a finalist.
A few readers requested a vlog on homemade laundry soap. I love this idea, but actually, my fellow frugal blogger, Jenn, beat me to it. She is also one of Walmart’s eleven moms, and let me tell you, her video is fantastic!
Several of you suggested a vlog detailing a trip to the store with coupons. I would love to do this, I am just not sure if I am brave enough to attempt filming in public! If I can figure out a discreet way to shop on camera, believe me, I am game!
I have thought long and hard about how to make this contest fair. Since the winner will be based on number of votes, I realize that bloggers have a huge advantage (they can direct their readers to the poll).
So, for the sake of fairness, I have decided to list my 10 favorites without names or blog URL’s. That way, the winner will truly win by popular vote. What do you think?
