My own Mother sent me a hot tip! She is a huge fan of Disneyland, so naturally she had to share this.

Nest year, Disney Parks (Orlando, FL and Anaheim, CA) are offering a special promotion for visitors on their Birthdays: FREE admission!

Apparently, milestone vacations are a hot new trend. If you are planning a Disney vacation in 2009 around a Birthday, you will save up to $75!

Here are the details from Disney’s website:

Start your birthday off right with the most magical birthday present of all: free admission on your birthday during 2009 to one of the Theme Parks of the Disneyland® Resort*! It’s our gift to you and it all begins right here.

To get this wonderful birthday gift for yourself or your children, follow these simple steps:

  • Register yourself—and your children too, if you want.
  • Print the reminder email with its confirmation message that you will receive 2 weeks prior to your birthday to redeem free admission on your birthday in 2009.
  • Bring proper ID and your confirmation message to the Main Entrance ticket booths outside the Disneyland® Resort Theme Parks.
  • If you are an Annual Passholder or already have a Multi-Day ticket you will use on your birthday, go ahead and register and bring the free admission on your birthday confirmation and proper ID to the ticket booth so you can choose from one of our other exciting birthday gifts instead. (see FAQs for details).

Further details here.

Thanks, Mom! Wish I could celebrate my big milestone at Disneyland (30), but it happens to be on Thanksgiving this year.

That is very good to know! Don’t know if we’ll be able to go, but my husband and son have birthdays in the summer! Thanks for passing along the tip!

    Hope you are feeling well.

Ooh…I’ll have to try and get us to a park in June. I gave birth to Ian on my birthday so I guess we could each get a free ticket and would only have to buy two!! That’s a cheap way to go to Disney!!

We’re going to be going on my niece’s birthday in March and printed out the form. If you forget your form, you can go to will call. For the child you have to bring a birth certificate.
