A CVS Update!

Great news! For those of you in the “test market” areas with those pesky Friday through Thursday sales dates, CVS is going back to normal! (Thanks, Kami).

I can’t confirm that this change applies to all areas, but Dallas/Ft. Worth is definitely included. If you know of other areas doing the same, please confirm in comments!

I am so relieved to hear this news! Ever since the new dates began, my CVSing ways have been, well, off.

You should expect to see this week’s ad in your Sunday paper, as usual. The new prices for the week are effective today, however ECBs will not begin printing until Sunday. You can probably request the new ad from a CVS employee for a sneak peek.

I am excited to get back to my old CVS schedule! With the approaching Holidays, I plan to stock up on items to donate to local charities. I have a feeling there will be a greater need for donations this year.

I could not be happier about this! Last week I totally missed out on the Loreal Revitalift that was free after ECBs because our market had it ONLY Friday/Saturday and the rest were Sunday/Monday. I read it online and got the dates wrong.

So glad it’s back to normal!!

I am SO HAPPY to hear this!!!!!! I have been “off” on my CVS stuff too! Now I can keep up with everyone’s current blogs and CVS ads!

I am one of your loyal “lurker” readers!
I always read but never comment! Just wanted to say THANK YOU for ALL of your valuable information helping me to be learn to be frugal with what God has given us and also ways to make this shopping “game” a way of giving for our family! Thanks again!

I live in the DFW area as well and found this out AFTER I had dropped off 2/3 of my kids so that I could go get the weekly CVS deals. Oh well, I got some amazing deals on clearance!

I was totally bummed out today. The ad given to me at my CVS store in MN that starts tomorrow is only 15 pages long and only has a total of 3 ECB deals. Nothing like what you see on any of the other sites or blogs. Just a heads up that there is a different ad out.

Oh this is GREAT news! I’ve only been hitting CVS every few weeks ever since they changed the dates. It will be nice to have things back to normal! Thanks for letting us know!

Back to normal in Cookeville, TN also. I also missed the Loreal Revitalift. My paper is not delivered on weekdays until 3:00 pm, and of course they were out of it when I went on Saturday. Just forgot to look online.

Ok….so I guess I am the ONLY one here who liked the Friday ads. 🙂

It was easier for me on Fridays since I could just swing by after work…I could check the ad online during my lunch break and be ready to go as soon as my students left.

Now that it is back to Sunday I have to drive there after church and all the good stuff is taken by the heathens who don’t go to church. (joking about the heathen part…just grumpy because they get there before I do.)
