I sheepishly admit I did not whip up a home-made costume, as frugal mommas often do. But for $5, I could not resist this sweet kitty from Old Navy! Leah is not so sure.
My youngest was a hand-me-down Old Navy Monkey. But I made my 3 yr. old’s green Princess gown. TRUST ME – it was not very frugal. The cost of the fabric and trims were more than it would have cost to have purchased one (thanks, China). But it has sentimental value!
Awww she’s adorable!! $5 is amazing!

She looks really cute! And I think it would be hard to make something for under $5.
CUTE!
Lol! Awwww, SO cute!
She’s so cute!!

I think finding a costume for under $10 is indeed frugal. Don’t feel bad about it. Besides, now you can pass it on to someone else to use!
That is adorable and you can’t beat $5.
She is so cute! And what a great find for $5. You can’t buy fabric and thread for that much less the wear and tear on the sewing machine.
I would have loved that costume when I was her age- I had a pretty serious fixation with cats (well, still kinda do-lol)
