Starting your Christmas shopping early? Fisher-Price is offering free shipping on all online orders of $50 or more through November 14th. If you are planning to purchase any Fisher-Price items this year, save a trip to the store and beat the crowds.

Personally, I would just love to have one of these:

It’s a new specialty item offered this year, Little People Nativity Collection. It includes 3 sets- the Nativity, Three Wise Men, and the Inn at Bethlehem. I can just picture my kiddos enjoying this for years to come during the Christmas season.

At $67 (ouch!), this is not a frugal gift, but one that I might consider. The true meaning of Christmas can easily become lost among holiday madness. This is one small way to keep Christ in focus.

We have the version of the Navitity and the Three Wisemen from a few years ago. My son and I both love it, and I can’t wait to use it this year in telling the story to my daughter. I think it’s definitely worth the money!

We also have the nativity and three wisemen plus the sheperds set from last year or the year before, and we’ve already pulled it out. My girls can’t get enough of it, and I love having a nativity set that they can play with and enjoy…even if a Little People hippo does occasionally end up on top of the creche instead of an angel. 😛

That’s a cute nativity! Our boys have the veggie tales and precious moments ones I allow them to play with. It is fun for them to have their own since no one can touch momma’s Hummel nativity set!!

I think it’s very important to have a nativity set that my boys can touch and play with. We have this FP nativity set and the shepherd’s set. My kids love playing with them at Christmas, and they often ask for it at other times of the year, too. I also have a set that I bought from Family Christian store called “What God wants for Christmas” by the same makers as the Resurrection Eggs. It has a series of boxes to open and the last box has a mirror in it. God wants you!

Thanks for sharing – it’s our goal to worship Jesus vs. consumerism at Christmas. We try to keep the gifts to a minimum and focus on the Christ’s birth. We have the manger set, but the whole big set looks like fun. 🙂 Thanks for sharing and thanks for all your neat ideas!
