Sunday Coupon Preview: January 4th

This post may contain affiliate links. Read my disclosure policy here.

After a light month of coupons throughout December, this weekend more than makes up for it. I wanted to give you an early preview of what to expect on your lawn this Sunday.

There are 5 inserts in this Sunday’s paper. Five! That is quite unusual, so get those scissors ready for some serious cutting.

You can expect 2 RedPlum and 3 Smart Source inserts. Most of these coupons do not expire until the end of February or March, so you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy them!

If you are new to couponing, one newspaper may be plenty, since too many coupons can quickly become overwhelming. Seasoned pros will want extra inserts.

Since the coupons are so plentiful, I am not going to list my favorites this week. You can see a complete list of what to expect over at Taylortown Preview. I see some good ones!

Now is a great time to clean out your coupon binder and start fresh for 2009. Pull all those expired coupons, and make room for new savings!

Speaking of coupons, a new month means some great new coupons right on my blog. In the purple widget on the left, you can instantly print your favorites with a few simple clicks. By doing so, you are supporting my blog, and I greatly appreciate it!

Here are some of my favorite coupons from the widget:

$0.40 Betty Crocker Potatoes
$0.75/2 Pillsbury Cookie dough
$1.10 Romano’s Macaroni Grill dinner kit
$0.55 Green Giant Just for One vegetables
$0.50/6 Yoplait Yogurt cups
$1.10 Wanchai Ferry Dinner kit
$1.10/3 Green Giant frozen boxed vegetables
$0.45 Betty Crocker Muffin mix
$0.75 Kix cereal
$1.00/2 Yoplait products
$1.00 Fiber One product
$0.75/2 Betty Crocker fruit roll ups
$1.00/2 General Mills cereals
$1.00 Ocean Spray Drink
$1.00/2 Totino’s Pizza snacks
$0.60 Nature Valley Granola bars
$1.00 Kraft or Polly-O string cheese
$1.00 Pillsbury Savorings flaky pastry bites
$0.50 Wacky Mac Pasta
$1.00 Kraft Velveeta
$0.75 Curves Granola bars

… and many more! Print these coupons soon, because once they hit their monthly limit, they’re gone. I recommend printing online coupons with color ink, to avoid potential hassle with cashiers.

Alyssa, Thanks for all your help and tips in your blog. Speaking of cleaning out, you should have SEEN the stack of expired coupons I cleaned out of my organizer yesterday. But, thankfully, there will be coupons-a-plenty Sunday!!!
