Join Sam's Club and get a $25 Gift Card!

If you were considering joining Sam’s Club this month, mark your Calendars for January 15th. New members will receive a $25 Gift Card upon joining!

A regular membership costs $40, but since you can turn around and use $25 on groceries or other essentials, that’s like paying $15 for a whole year!

This offer is valid in-club only, and ends January 21st. More details here. A one year membership with the gift card would also make a great gift!

A word a caution for new members: shop with a list, and stick to it! Warehouse club stores are full of tempting impulse buys. Get in, get what you need, and get out.

There's also a deal on the P&G website–if you do the P&G buy $50/get $120 of coupons, and buy it all at Sam's, you can get a $10 Sams gift card. Use your $25 card towards the $50 in products, and get the P&G coupons and the $10 Sam's gift card. (I think you may have to ask for two receipts to do this)

Alyssa, thanks for the tip on Sam’s. I let my card expire..just couldn’t justify $40. But I think I might get one with this promotion. Great, frugal, things come to those who wait!!

Thanks for the tip but I thought I would share a tidbit I found out whiler researching these clubs. When we moved to FL I did go to BJ's, Sams & Costco to figure out which is the best buy. I found that, due to Costco's 3% back at the end of the year it basically paid for my membership while the other clubs have no return for money spent there. Products seemed to have equal deals/coupons. Please let me know if I have missed something? Thanks!

Charlene, thanks for the great tip! I will update the post to include a link to the P&G site.

Julie, that is so true! I can't tell you how many times I find the best deals on things I have waited for. Delayed gratification is even sweeter!

Thank you for your comment, Park Family. You are right, the products are all similar in price and quality. As far as the best buy, I think it really depends on how much you plan to spend there throughout the year. For me personally, I am not sure. But $15 a year a pretty sweet!

I’ll have to think about Sam’s. If I can afford it I might go ahead and sign up with all of those deals! My favorite is Costco. You can get a personalized half sheet cake (which are delicious!!!) for $15. That by itself is worth the cost of membership if you ask me. The problem is, their bakery is wonderful. I like their deals on clothes too, but the bakery items are to die for. A little pricey on some of them. Also, their meat is probably a good price now that I’m in the stocking up mode. I never bought it before because it was too much to eat in a week, and I didn’t think about freezing it.

But for $15 OOP, I’ll try Sam’s and try to wait for a good deal to come up for Costco before renewing my membership there.
