Since I am not a frequent movie-goer (it’s my frugal nature), I missed seeing Fireproof in theaters. But I have several friends that did, and it got rave reviews!
A little about the movie:

I loved the movie. In fact, our church is going to show this around Valentine’s Day. And check out the book “the love dare”. It goes along with the movie (smart marketing move, I guess) and the book is really good too.

the movie was AWESOME. i knew the movie would be good, but it was better than good! Definitely a spirit-filled movie, it was so great. Can’t wait to buy it!!
Our family rented this movie last night and really enjoyed it. Kurt Cameron is a really good actor and so are the rest of the cast.
It is such a blessing to be able to see a movie that glorifies God and sends a clear gospel message!

I haven’t seen it yet, but this is a good reason to. I loved reading an article about Curt Cameron replacing his wife for any kissing scenes. It said something to the effect that he pledged that she would be the only woman he would ever kiss once they were married, and even being an actor he’s committed to that end! How romantic 🙂

My church in Ottawa Kansas is showing Fireproof Valentines Day Evening. Our invites and posters are going to arrive in the mail tomorrow. We are really excited to see how God is going to use this to help impact those in our community. What a great tool!

My wife and I have been married for 6 years, and we have two kids, 5 and 2 years old. We watched Fireproof last night and it really struck me that I do not know how to love as God love me. I am similair to Kurt Cameron’s character in the movie, only not as disrespectful to his wife! (early in the movie) I have been saved, but I was 12 and feel it was almost to early. I am currently buying the Love Dare book and am committed to loving my wife/kids as Jesus loves us.

My hubby & I saw the movie last weekend and both cried like babie's!! (Don't care who knows that!!) It is the best movie we have seen in a very long time and it's is the perfect movie to watch with your Significant other.
