A new month, a new chance to be frugal. Even if you blew it in January, you can start fresh today! I want to highlight two new challenges I have noticed around the blogosphere.
There must be something about February… perhaps because it’s the shortest month of the year?

One of my fellow ElevenMoms, Amy, is hosting a NO SPEND Challenge on her blog. It’s not too late to join in!

My real-life friend and blogger, Kami, started a NO EATING OUT Challenge today on her blog. She gives you all the tools you’ll need, including grocery lists and simple menu plans for 4 weeks! Even if you could not go a whole month, why not try it for a week?
Setting realistic goals while having plans in place for spending and meals is an important part of being frugal. Even small changes in your lifestyle can make a huge impact!
Will you take on a new challenge? I encourage you to visit the blogs above, and perhaps you will be inspired.

Great challenges.
As if those would be sacrifices. How our perspective is slanted. 😉
Blessings,
Linda

Aw, thank you so much Alyssa for highlighting our No Spend Month. I am loving seeing everyone’s posts on this. I admit, February was an easier month because we had no birthdays or holidays (other than Valentine’s Day) to worry about. The short factor was definitely a bonus 🙂
Thanks for mentioning my challenge! I love that people are excited about NOT eating out! I can’t wait to see how everyone does. 🙂
