I promised this giveaway, and it’s finally here! I recently purchased Fireproof on DVD to enjoy with my husband and then pass on to a deserving reader.
We watched it together over the weekend and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Perhaps it’s just my raging pregnancy hormones, but I bawled like a baby at the end.
The movie was a great reminder about important principles in marriage. We happen to be going through a “Marriage On The Rock” workshop right now through our church, so it was a perfect tie in.

This was a really good movie! It was wonderful watching it with my non-church going husband.
My mother in law talked my husband and I into going to the theater with her church to see this movie. Neither of us was thrilled. But once we saw the message, the love in this movie, WOW, just WOW! I’d love to win it and watch it together again. I would like to see this movie because my baby brother just saw it and was so moved by it he went back to his wife. He wanted her to know that he felt they could make it if they put God into their marriage. This is huge for my brother as that he’s not ever even attended church. I’ve wanted to see this video since you first reviewed it – my husband is a volunteer fireman with our small town VFD – I’ve heard from others that its a great watch. Our marriage, too, has weathered some tough times – and it wouldn’t have survived without God’s grace and principles that Jesus taught.
after 28 years of marriage and 4 sons (none of which are married yet…….),
we have never viewed this movie.
I would love to introduce this movie to my husband and I together, then pass it on to our sons and their future wives, when the time is right.
From what I have heard here, this would be a keepsake for any marriage.

It would be such a blessing to be able to watch this DVD – we’ve had a hard time finding it in our area!
As newlyweds, each coming from families of divorce, we know that marriage will require a lot of hard work, commitment and faith. We’d love to see it, and be able to pass it on to our parents (both remarried), and then donate it to the church, who would use it as part of their pre-marital/couples counseling.
I have seen this movie but I would like to give a copy to my sister who is getting married soon in the Philippines. I don’t think this has hit the theatres there or if it ever will be so this will be a huge blessing to them as well as to other people they’re share the dvd with. Thanks!

My husband and I have recently talked about renting/buying this movie. Our marriage it going through a deep valley right now. In October we lost our dear Sweet Pea 21 weeks into the pregnancy. While we praise God for our wonderful 4 1/2 year old, we are truly struggling to deal with this huge loss. Add into that the fact that we are dealing with the grief in very different ways.
