This week’s giveaway is in honor of my upcoming baby shower. I can hardly believe it is right around the corner! I received a beautiful diaper cake from Diaper Cakewalk. The best gifts, in my opinion, are both unique and practical.

What could be more practical than diapers for a new baby? Pampers Swaddlers, no less.

I plan to display my lovely 3-tier cake at my shower. It includes an adorable Teddy Bear with a rattle, a pacifier, and 45 diapers in sizes 1 & 2. The whole thing came wrapped in tule with beautiful hand-tied bow accents.

Flowers are lovely, but for about the same price, a diaper cake makes a fabulous hospital or shower gift for a new mom. Diaper Cakewalk has a variety of unique baby gifts available to order. They are handmade right here in America.

I appreciate the eco-friendly diaper cake options as well! There is also a whole resource section with ideas for planning a great baby shower.

Diaper Cakewalk wants to send a diaper cake to one of my readers! Even if you are not expecting, perhaps you know someone who is.

I know this is a really simple question.. but to be honest, what worked best with my younger kiddos was – Pampers swaddlers before crawling. When crawling started, we switched to Huggies. When walking up to potty training, we used whatever brand was on sale, and I have to say, Kroger comforts are awesome! Thanks so much for the giveaway!!

  2. banking deal community says

My son will be going from size 2 pampers swaddlers to size 3 pampers cruisers…How good are them diapers??? I will be using them at night. Are they really absorbent like the swaddlers for nighttime? My son is in bed for 11 hours so i need them to be really absorbent. I use Luvs in the day.

  3. missemilysmama@yahoo.com says

I use whatever I can get the cheapest. So, right now it it huggies with that awesome new coupon.

  4. Kim F. says

Right now, we love the Walgreen’s Supreme brand. Seriously. It works well that it is also more affordable than name-brand…but it is actually my preferred brand right now.

  5. Leslie says

I am entering this for a friend who is pregnant! My girls are 18 and 22, back then there were Pampers, Luvs and Huggies, and I got what was on SALE!!! They all seemed to work the same back then!!! I BETCHA things have changed a BUNCH since then!!!! This Diaper Cake from Diaper Cakewalk is so adorable and would BE the PERFECT BABY SHOWER PRESENT!!! It would steal the show. The only thing bigger would be Momma’s Tummy!!!

I am a Huggies fan- you just might all be after the great coupons this last month! But from what I hear Pampers Swaddlers are the Cadillac of diapers. Never tried ’em. We’ll see!

We are Huggies fans – the ones with the hourglass shape, I think it’s Supreme Natural Fit. But I will be giving this diaper cake to my cousin and she says Pampers are just fine, she’s not picky about cute and free stuff 🙂

Thanks to you and to Diaper Cakewalk, they make beautiful gifts!

ooh–I love that diaper cake! I’m hosting a baby shower in a few weeks and this would be so perfect! I don’t have children myself, but I have heard that the swaddlers are great.

  13. Dawn says

We mainly use cloth diapers, and Bum Genius are our favorite.

For a newborn, though, we LOVE Pampers Swaddlers…they’re so soft, and they do the job well! Since we’ll have another newborn in a few months, we’re in the process of stocking up on teeny-tiny diapers in our house!

  16. Twinsmom says

What a great giveaway! Our youth pastor and his wife are expecting a child – their 4th in 3 years (they have a 3-year-old and twin 18-month-olds), so it would be a blessing to give this to them! Thanks for being able to offer it!

  17. The Happy Housewife says

I just recently switched to cloth diapers, but still plan on diapering our newborn with swaddlers until she is about a month old (we are expecting a very small baby).

  18. Misty says

Hello, thanks for another great contest! I’m a huggies girl, unless they are on sale with a mq somewhere else but Costco makes it pretty easy to stay stocked up.

  19. Mama Manak says

Wow…what a cool giveaway! I’m pregnant with our third…a little boy!

My favorite brand of diapers is whatever is cheapest! I’ve recently bought Walgreens since they had such an awesome sale going on. For baby diapers I prefer Huggies or Pampers.

  20. Virginia says

I also subscribe to your blog. I forgot to mention, I don’t have a favorite diaper since I haven’t had any kids yet. But I love reading all the mom’s opinions. Nothing wrong with preparing for the future :).

  21. Kelly says

My favorite type of diapers is Pampers Swaddlers. I think they fit the best for my son and hopefully for my new baby as well!

  22. Jennifer says

To be honest we are mainly a cloth diaper family. That being said I love to start out with throw away dips for those first diaper changes and usually have some on hand for times when I’m too tired to think about washing diapers. I usually buy whatever is the best value.

  23. Leah says

My favorite diaper is pampers swadlers/cruisers/pull-ups. I’ve had to go through all the stages and am finally done potty training. I tried every diaper/training pant under the sun and none compared!

  24. Andrea M says

I’d love to display a diaper cake at my shower!! With my boys, I was a fan of Pampers! But it’s been 8 years since then. So we will be in search of a new diaper to love with our daughter!

    Andrea

  25. Melinda says

I love Pampers, they smell so good! 🙂 And I just found out we are expecting our third baby. That means I will have a 3 year old, a 14 month old and a newborn in October. All I can say is, my oldest had better be potty trained by then!!!! LOL! 🙂

  26. Waterchick says

I love Pampers Swaddlers. Now that my daughter is in Babydry or Cruisers, I miss them a lot. They are so much softer!

  27. becky says

Pamper swaddlers are my favorite…but since we do our best to save as much money as we can we us cloth diapers most of the time…still use disposables for when we are out and about and at night.

We are a Pampers family through and through from diapers to wipes. Used the swaddlers when she was little, now on to cruisers. I have to admit I bought some Huggies during the infamous WAGS diaper deal (who could pass that up?), but guess what I did…..gave them to my Sister in law who is expecting. That’s how die hard a Pampers gal I am.

  46. Jennifer says

Great giveaway! I have a pregnant friend who I would love to give this to. When my duaghter was born, we received some Pampers Swaddlers at the hospital. We stuck with those until it was time for pull-ups. Now the Huggies pull-ups seem to fit best. I’m looking forward to the days when diapers are a thing of the past!
