Occasionally blogging has its perks. Like getting to try cool new products before they even hit the shelves! For a frugal girl like myself, this is a special treat.
Even better when I get to share a fun new product with my readers! The ElevenMoms were given an opportunity to try the latest and greatest in mascara technology. Who knew that mascara could be so technical?
I happen to love mascara. It is the one beauty product I simply must have. Of course, my usual pick is whatever I can score for free with Extra Care Bucks at CVS.
The new Maybelline Pulse Perfection Vibrating mascara is not your ordinary mascara. It actually delivers 7,000 vibrations per minute in 7 synchronized actions so lashes are transformed to perfection. Did you catch all that?
Apparently, high-end brands like Estee Lauder and Lancome also launched vibrating mascaras, but cost roughly 3 times the price of the Maybelline version. It has been so long since I even set foot in a department store, I had no clue such a thing existed!
This product is not out in stores yet, but will be available nationwide starting on May 28th for $14.95. Until then, you can purchase it exclusively from Walmart.com for $12.95.
I decided to vlog my experience with this new gadget for y’all to see. Since I had a baby just 1 month ago, this was a great excuse for me to take a shower clean my bathroom put on makeup!

I agree that mascara is a good one and can really improve tired eyes. My other favorite is the TruBlend foundation. I love how it smooths out my skin tone! This mascara you’re featuring looks so fancy! lol I usually just buy cheap stuff. I’d love to try some fancy expensive mascara. That would be an awesome treat!

It is definitely mascara for me as well. I am a *natural* blonde and have totally blonde eyelashes. I am a makeup wearing kind of gal anyways, but I never leave the house without at least putting on mascara.

I cannot live without Mascara, and eyebrow Pencil I have no lashes or eyebrows! UGHHH it is terrible. I have an appointment with my Dr. this month.. there is a new medication on the market called Latisse, and I am hoping that maybe she will prescribe it for me.. I have almost NO lashes.. seriously… so if I do NOT wear mascara.. I look freaky!!

I am a natural blonde so I have no eyebrows or eyelashes…if I don’t wear mascara, people think I have the flu or something so my can’t live without makeup is mascara and eyebrow pencil and my lips chap easy so I have to use chapstick. (is that a makeup?)

i, too, am an avid mascara-aholic. that, plus my mineral foundation stuff. i can't leave home without either one. DH gets upset when he sees that i have more than two tubes at a time.
currently, i have lash stiletto and 1000 calorie by max factor. two totally different looks that i change according to what i'm wearing, etc. i've heard about this vibrating mascara stuff, but it was too expensive to try. i'm glad i have a chance for a free tube!

My only MUST-have is chapstick/lip gloss of some sort. I also use face moisturizer, but I only wear makeup on special occasions. For that reason, it would be great to win so I can throw out my old mascara! 🙂

My MUST HAVE is moisturizer,,,all over my face and neck…I feel like a shriveled prune without it… giggles…even when camping olive oil will work.
One thing i can not live without is mascara. All the ones i’ve bought they always clamp, so i see that this one looks like it would not do that.

I’ve been wanting to try that mascara! Since joining the SAHM world, I’m addicted to my tinted moisturizer. Just enough color to even out my skin tone, but super easy and fast!
mascara would be my first choice but lipstick would follow closely. would love to try this. maybelline makes the best mascara.

Make-up ,… what’s that? I forget about wearing it, til I’m in the car driving, which means I have to wait til I get somewhere to put it on! (Cause you know I need to set a good example and keep the makeup and celly in the purse while I’m driving!) So, may favorite one is the one or maybe two that fit in the purse and can go on in the car, within 30 seconds each, and looks good in odd lighting- without giving me cause to cringe when I get into “real” light! I can’t live without mascara. I have long eyelashes but they are invisible without mascara so even when I wear nothing else, I always make a point to wear mascara

While I could *technically* live without it, I have pale lips and never ever leave the house without some kind of lip product on, lipstick, stain, or gloss. I always have at least two choices in my purse and at least one in the console of my van. A very close second would be mascara, but I do sometimes (very rarely) go without it.
