With Summer in full swing (at least here in Texas), my family is always on the lookout for frugal family fun.
Thankfully, Stephanie at Couponing 101 compiled a whole list of free and cheap events for kids and families.
I recommend printing this one!
And don’t forget about the free Super WHY! play day this Saturday, June 13th at Toy R Us stores.

If you go to this website, http://www.nps.gov/findapark/feefreeparksbystate.htm, it will show you list,of Fee-Free Weekend Parks (by state). The fee-free weekends are:
June 20-21, 2009 (Father’s Day weekend)
July 18-19, 2009
August 15-16, 2009
Since we live in IL, the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial, in St. Louis, is listed. Since we wanted to take a road trip and do some fun family "stuff," that didn't break the bank, this is definitely on our list! 🙂
