Today, I wonder… is he thinking about me?
Does he know he has a grandson? Does he even care?
What is he doing?
And then I stand up, take a deep breath, and close my eyes. These questions always surface each year on this day.
I take comfort in the amazing love of my Heavenly Father. And I have everything I need.

Wonderful song. Today is also a bitter sweet day for me. I have a broken relationship with my father. Here is actually here visiting with us from out of state, but it is uncomfortable. I am really trying to just love him in spite of all the pain he has caused.
Thank God for a perfect and loving heavenly Father. What a comfort. 🙂

Very nice song. Today is hard for me as well since I suddenly lost my father almost 6 years ago. I so wish that he could see his grandsons grow up, but have to keep relying on God for strength. Thanks for sharing.
I know the feeling…only my feelings come on Mother’s Day. Sorry it’s a tough day. What a comfort the Lord is on days like this!
Right there with you. I just saw my Dad two weeks ago , after not seeing him for over 20 years. It was nice to see him, a little weird. It was the first time he saw his grand children ( the new little one wasn’t born yet ;-( .
Have not heard from him since then ?????
He lives in L.V., the chance of him ever coming back here are slim to none.
Am glad I did a chance to see him .
