Super Double Coupons at Kroger on 8/15 (TX & LA Only)

Great news for my fellow Texans and those in Louisiana! Have you seen this week’s Kroger ad?

This Saturday ONLY, Kroger is offering Super Double Coupons, where they will double coupons up to $1.00! They typically only double up to 50 cents, so this is a fantastic event you will not want to miss!

A few tips if you plan to go:

• Go early!  Hard core couponers will be there when the doors open, I guarantee it.  If your Kroger is 24 hours, this deal starts at 12 AM!
• Bring lots of coupons (obviously). Make sure that binder is full of high value coupons because you never know what deal you will come across.
• Call your local Kroger ahead of time if you have specific coupon questions. Some Krogers will reportedly double $1.00/2 coupons, some will not.
• Look for hidden deals.  You can plan for some coupon matches here, but you will likely find free items once you are perusing the shelves with coupons in tow.
• Start prepping now.  I have already been printing several $1.00 coupons here and here so I am prepared for the big day!

This is a great opportunity to stock up, and you will likely score many items for free!  Kroger is only allowing 1 like item per transaction, which will hopefully prevent people from clearing the shelves completely.

If there are free or very cheap items you would not normally buy, stock up anyway and donate them to a local food pantry!
