I wish I could take credit for this amazing photo. The baby? Oh yeah, he’s all mine. But the talent behind the lens is Amy Locurto, whom I had the pleasure of meeting on Saturday at a bloggy meetup.

And let me tell you, I have some serious camera envy, y’all! I think I need to start saving my Swag Bucks for a new DSLR after Christmas.

See more fabulous photos from the DFW Blogger Party we attended here.

If you are a wannabe budding photography buff, check out Amy’s other blog. She is hosting a photography workshop next month in Dallas, and she asked if Colin would sit in as a baby model during one of sessions. {squeee!} Read: free photos.

On a personal note, my sweet boy you see pictured above is battling H1N1- yes, the swine flu. Those beautiful blue eyes are tired and red after a long day at the doctor’s and an ER visit. Your prayers are appreciated!

Poor little blue eyes! Is he in on the mend? Do your other little ones have it too? Flu is scary when they are babies, doesn’t matter if its H1N1 or just the “regular” flu, it always worries me. Prays for peace and healing.

Thanks, Rebecca! Yes, he is actually on the mend. My 3 year old daughter has it as well. Thankfully they were both able to take TamiFlu which seems to be helping.

I am praying for your family and sweet baby boy to feel better soon. I am worried about my son who is a bit old than yours, 14, he has asthma and getting sick hits him hard much less the swine flu. I am in North Texas and more and more kids at school are getting sick each day. Take care…

Laura, I know what you mean, it seems to be pretty bad here in North Texas. Hope your son stays healthy!

Oh no! I’m sorry he got the flu. I’ll be praying for him. Hope everyone in your family stays well.

Glad you liked the photo, he’s such a cutie pie!! Those eyes are gorgeous and he will be the cutest model! I can’t wait to take more photos of him at our workshop:-)

I am so sorry about your baby boy. My little one, Hannah, had H1N1. THAT’s why my husband encouraged me to go to the DFW party last weekend. She was in the PICU in Temple the week before that. I understand completely how your week has been. It was great to meet you last weekend.

    Update for all:
Thank you for all your kind comments and prayers! He seems to have made a very speedy recovery, I am totally in awe right now of how he was protected. God is good!

Now keep all your babies healthy! 🙂
