Welcome, my fellow CVS fanatics and newbies! It’s Sunday, time for our weekly CVS $5 Challenge. The place to go for simple CVS scenarios with step-by-step instructions.

It’s another so-so week at CVS, but perfect for newbies with 2 easy transactions.

All you need is an ExtraCare Card, a CVS ad, a printer and coupons to get started. Be sure to register your CVS loyalty card with Upromise for extra college savings.

Total After Coupons= $1.99

ECBs earned= $2.00

Transaction #2
Buy 1 Scope Outlast @ $3.49
Buy 1 Betty Crocker Warm Delights @ $1.50
$0.75/1 Scope (P&G insert 11/29)

    My OOP this week was $5.67 with 2ECB’s left!

    I bought 1 gillette razor and used the$2 Q from 12/27 PG
    Used my $5 ECB’s from last week
    Paid $2.67 OOP, 4ECB’s received

    Then, I bought 2 pantene and 3 coke 2-Liters. I used a $1 Q from Recycle Bank on the coke and the $3/2 Pantene from 12/27 PG and the 4 ECB’s f rom the last transaction.
    Paid $2. (can’t remember the change amt)

    Last trans–
    I bought 1 colgate total toothpaste for $2.99. (I planned to buy 4 Ivory soap 3-packs, but my store was out). I paid with my 3 ECB’s from the last transaction and paid OOP 23cents.

    Total: over $27 worth of products for less than $6!!!! 🙂
