Contrary to popular belief, it is not always hot in Texas…

This Radio Flyer Wagon was under our tree this year and has already gotten more use than all the kids’ presents combined. Totally. worth it.

Dallas saw its first White Christmas in 80 years last week! A rare treat, indeed.

Then today, it snowed again.

It may be small, but Leah is so proud of her very first snowman!
And that… is the ultimate in frugal family fun.

Wow! I ‘m heading your way very soon… and hoping for some snow while I am there, too!
What fun pictures!
Let it snow, Let it Snow Let it Snow!!!
She has every right to be proud of that snowman so many people wouldn’t have bothered and she did great! The wagon is wonderful! Happy NY & WW
These photos are lovely! And 80 years!!! wow.
Last year LA got a white Christmas too. It was perfect! I am hoping for another in my area this year too.
Happy holidays!

So sweet! I don’t know how they made that snowman! Ours was bout 7 inches tall and a lot grassier.

Didn’t realize you had snow like that in TX?! Can’t wait to build forts with my little guy!!!
The smiles on their faces are simply priceless.

That’s adorable. I’m so glad they were able to experience the snow, even if it was a once in a lifetime event.
Grace got that wagon for her first birthday, and it has taken us everywhere from the county fair to the beach, and we also use it in the snow. It’s a great investment. Enjoy! 🙂

That snowman is precious!! She should be very proud.
It always seems so odd to me when I hear about snow in Texas. Love your snowman!
Happy New Year!!

Adorable snowman and little one! If you need more snow, you can have as much as you want if you come to my house. We got 22″ last week and another inch today. Come and get it!!!!
Oh WOW! A rare treat for Dallas! How nice your little ones got to experience the snow-an exciting experience for those who do not live in it regularly! I’m sure the pictures will be a nice reminder year after year that the snow does not come your way…”Remember the snowman that you got to build when we had snow in 2009?” 🙂
Cute snowman! Looks like the kids had fun.

just like here in San Diego… its nice a sunny most of the time BUT drive about 30 min and you will get snow!
Hope you had a wonderful holiday and enjoy ringing in the new year! Have a great Wordless Wednesday!
Hope you enjoy my potentially offensive yet absolutely hilarious WW this week!
So adorable! My WW today is about our snow, too. But we don’t have any snowmen pics. =( Since we missed the “big snow” on Christmas, my kids were thrilled to play in the “little” snow yesterday – not enough for snow man building. =(

When I heard it was cold there I was amazed, but snow? Seems a bit surreal, doesn’t it? Stay warm!

Awww, looks like they had a blast in the snow. You have to take advantage of it when you can!
