This is pretty darn awesome! I had no idea Walgreens could be so cheap! I think I am going to have to spend some time reading some other articles so I can participate to!

Thanks for visiting, DiscipleshipGuy. Yes, Walgreens is a great way to save money on everyday items, when you know how to combine coupons and sales. I hope you find the challenge helpful!

    Hi,
I just came back from Walgreens and the Finish dishwashing soap was not on sale and they didn’t offer the RR either. Do their deals vary by state? I’m from Utah. I did get a good deal on the Neosporin and found some Sammy haircare items on clearance for under $3 and they still qualified for the weekly BOGO offer.

    • Alyssa Francis says

Hi Kate- Walgreens deals do not usually vary by region. However, not all stores are consistent about correctly labeling prices and sales on the shelves. Perhaps the Electrosol was not marked as on sale on the tag? If so, it will still ring up at the sale price and generate RR. I could be totally wrong, but that is my theory. 🙂

The Walgreens in Idaho Falls don’t seem to have the Electrasol on sale, either. I tried today, thinking maybe it just wasn’t marked. But, no, I was charged $5.99. I did receive the $1 RR, though. I’m not sure what happened with that–usually Walgreens doesn’t vary by region, but we don’t have that sale here.

  5. Priscilla says

I have tried this in the past with no luck but have picked it up again about 3 weeks ago. I am amazed at the savings and able to help my mom and sister with their budgets too!
