I’m new to CVS couponing/using ECBs. I got interested when I made a purchase last week and got $3 in ECBs for buying greeting cards.

So anyway, today this was my purchase:

    Transaction #1
    Dove Men’s Body Wash $5.49
printable coupon from dove website $1.25/1
    Total was $4.24
Used $3 ECBs from last trip
Paid $1.24 out of pocket plus tax

    Paid $1.24 + tax
    Received $5.49 ECBs

    Transaction #2
    1 Dove Men’s Body Wash for $5.49
used printable Dove coupon for $1.25/1

1 box CVS brand 110 ct white tissue for .89

1 Colgate MaxFresh toothpaste for $2.99
used printable $0.75/1 coupon from Colgate’s website

    Total $7.37
used $5.49 ECBs from Transaction #1

Paid almost $2 out of pocket for Trans #2, received $5.49 ECBs for Dove and $2 ECB for Colgate

I have to admit, it felt pretty amazing (and almost wrong) to walk out of CVS with these things for little more than $3! I love it, I’m hooked. I also did the free cheese deal at Meijer this week, and bought $56 in games from Wal-Mart for a total of $12 (with printable Pictureka, Monopoly and Sorry coupons). AMAZING! Thank you for your blog, I love it! :)
