Four women who desire a “clean start”. That’s the idea behind Lifetime’s third annual Clean Start Challenge. Going back to school, starting a business, losing weight, learning to cook and so much more, these four finalists will document their journey over the next three months while competing for a $10,000 grand prize.
The Clean Start Challenge launched today on MyLifetime.com, in partnership with SC Johnson and Glade. You can follow their progress every week and vote for your favorite contestant for your chance to win $1000!
Lifetime has also asked a few Lifetime Moms to partner with the contestants as “buddies” or mentors throughout the challenge. That’s where I come in. Since I love bossing people around projects, I eagerly agreed to partner up with Zakiyyah Johnson of New Jersey.
About my Buddy:
Zakiyyah is a recently unemployed mom of three with an upcoming wedding. The stress of her job loss has been tremendous, with rising debt and a wedding dress that no longer fits. She desires to lose weight while tackling her finances before her June wedding. I am so looking forward to “meeting” Zakiyyah and supporting her through this journey!
I have a few ideas to help her get started, such as some frugal living tips, coupon resources, and of course, I’ll introduce her to my pal, Dave. 😉
