Kindred Spirits

3-amigos

Three women.

With entirely different backgrounds. In three different states.

Three moms.

One first timer. One of all girls. One a step-mother.

Three wives.

One to a Pastor. One to her childhood sweetheart. One finding her way.

Three churches.

Different denominations. Or not one. Different music. One wears a hat each week. The others wear jeans.

Three bloggers. Three friends.

One faith.

Brought together through blogging. Prayer warriors, shoulders to (virtually) cry on, always a text message away.

Who knew blogging could connect these kindred spirits? So different, yet so alike.

Not expected, yet such a blessing.

This is what Relevant is all about. Are you seeking a kindred spirit?

I invite you to join me, Myra, and Amy, along with 200 other Christian women bloggers this October. Come… be encouraged, supported and blessed.

Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their work:

If one falls down,
his friend can help him up.
But pity the man who falls
and has no one to help him up!

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

Being a kindred spirit takes time and we three invested and are investing in each other.

It is amazing. Truly amazing. My eyes are filled with thankful tears to God. He is our common bond.

Can NOT wait to hang at Relevant! 🙂

    xoxo

I won’t be coming to the conference, but I thought I’d post a quick comment. My husband thinks I’m nutty because after experiencing a miscarriage with our first pregnancy I’ve befriended and now kept in touch with about 10 women who I met in an online community. I actually got to meet one of them while we were traveling in January. It was great to put a person with the profile! I think it’s fun to be able to meet people who understand you even though you wouldn’t normally meet in the regular course of life.

What a great group of women. Be encouraged and uplifted. You are doing a wonderful thing here and I do hope to make it! We live so close to you that I would hate to miss it.

I am working on saving for the registration fee and I know if it is meant to be, it will work out but please know that I am praying for you and lifting up your plans in prayer.

I so want to go! I would definitely need a sponsor and I’m not sure how to go about that. I’ve been following all the chatter on twitter. Sounds like a great conference!

Alyssa, I was wondering what church you attend?
We also live in the DFW area and have been looking for a good fit for our family.
