Welcome, my fellow Walgreens fans! It’s Sunday, time for our weekly Walgreens $5 Challenge.  The place to come for simple scenarios with step-by-step instructions.

Wags is kind of slow this week, but use these quick and easy scenarios to still get a great deal! Grab your weekly Walgreens ad, a printer and some scissors to get started. Don’t forget to pick up your March Walgreens Coupon Book.

Buy 1 Colgate Max White 6 oz Toothpaste or Toothbrush @ $2.99
$0.75/1 Colgate Max White Printable

Total After Coupon= $2.24

RRs Earned= $2.00

Transaction #2
Buy 1 Pantene Restoratives or Expressions Product @ $3.99
Buy 1 Jelly Beans 10oz @ $0.50
$1.00/1 Pantene Restoratives or Expressions Product (RP insert 02/14/10)
$2.00 RR from above

Total After RR= $1.49

RRs Earned= $1.00

Grand Total OOP= $3.73

Total Value= $7.48 with $1.00 in Register Rewards remaining!

    Why are all the ad ons mixed up – like CVS deals in the Walgreens post? I love your blog by the way and the $5 challenge is so great – b/c you could really get carried away and this helps you stay on track!

    I went yesterday. Bought the follow:

    Oscar Meyer Bacon 2/3.00=$6.00
    6 snickers candy bars .49cents=$2.94
    Minus coupons (2) 1.50 off 1 oscar meyer bacon
    (3) .50/2
    Spent $5.27 incl tax
    Received 2 RR’s back for a grand total of $3.27
