Thank you so much for your ethical deals posted each week. I love that you have monetized your blog and are a lifetime and walmart blogging mom, you get the deals, you get the compensation and rewards for blogging, and you do it without compromising your ethics, which a lot of people do not do. I hope that you will continue to always blog honestly and not ever compromise your beliefs because I know that God will continue to bless you for doing that.

Hi Alyssa…I’m finally getting into the swing of things after couponing for a couple months, but I’m still not bold enough to conquer multiple transactions on the same day. Maybe this is a silly question, but in the scenario above, do you check out more than once at CVS on the same trip? As in, take your first purchase out to the car, come back and go through the line again for the second transaction…or do you just ask the cashier to ring it up separately and then turn around and use the first ECBs right away? I’m just wondering if I should expect some trouble (or strange looks) if I only go through the line once and try to use my ECBs right away…

I have the same question as Marissa…I am new to this and no matter how I try to plan ahead of time smthg different happens when I am in the store

This is a response to Marissa and Alba. I know each CVS is different but here’s what I do in mine. If there are people waiting to check out, I’ll do one deal-take my receipt and the next items I want and go to the back of the line. No problem. If the store isn’t busy, I pay for one transaction and then push the items up that are next and use the CVS bucks I just earned on them. I’ve never had a clerk look at me funny, some even make a comment about “what a deal” and EVERY time I go in I tell them how much I love CVS! Be bold…be considerate of other shoppers and have some fun getting great deals!
