Speaking of back-to-school, we are planning another huge giveaway event next month to celebrate the new school year! Check out and “like” the Facebook page for all the latest updates!

Now back to the deals:

Every Monday through August, I will be posting a Back-to-School Bargain round up to help readers find the best deals out there, shared by bloggers. The bargains are plentiful, if you know where to look.

Fellow frugal bloggers, feel free to link up your latest and greatest back-to-school deals below.

These can include school supplies, clothing, shoes, backpacks, or dorm room essentials.

To keep it neat, please link directly to your blog post, not your home page. Include the store name in your description to make it easy for readers to find. Links back to this meme to share with others are greatly appreciated!

Seems like the best way to save money on back to school supplies is to re-use what you already have and only buy what you need. Know of any other good back to school shopping tips?

You have no idea how pleased your child’s teacher would be if you were to score some of these free and one-cent items and pass them on to her/him. I try to reuse what I have with my own daughter, and wait until I know exactly what she needs. But for my classroom, I have no supply budget at all, and the district asked us to cut our supply lists. So I’m buying 50 pocket folders, 25 poly binders, glue, crayons, markers, scissors, copy paper, pencils, dry erase markers, white board cleaner, tape refills, index cards, construction paper in white and black, hand sanitizer, pencil sharpeners, etc…….and that’s in addition to stuff I generally buy to add to the environment of my classroom. So many teachers don’t find the challenge of getting all the stuff for the lowest price as fun as I do. I know they’d really appreciate whatever you can send their way!

I use some of daughter’s old things too but she just loves picking something cute when we shop.. Coupons help me save when it comes to back-to-school supplies.
