Just about two years ago, a groundbreaking social media program launched- The ElevenMoms. Now simply known as The “Walmart Moms”, I am still proud to be a part of this group of bloggers.

My personal goal at the time the group formed, was to share my experiences and frustrations over using coupons at Walmart. Most notably, issues with using internet printable coupons. Many readers have emailed me with similar issues over the years.

Well today, Walmart wants to hear from their customers directly, and they have asked The Walmart Moms to help facilitate an online survey on using coupons at Walmart. The survey is very quick and easy, and the results will go directly to the right people.

Your input will help them make informed decisions as they update the policy to reflect changing consumer behaviors. Please take the survey now! I cannot promise the results will be immediate, but in the long run, I believe this will make a difference.

Happy to do the survey! At the same Walmart I go to it can be easy or difficult depending on the cashier. When they have to call a manager, the manager tends to be mad at the cashier because there should not have been a problem!

@Elaine, I totally relate to your comment, Elaine! I will pass along your comment, as well. Thanks so much for the feedback. 🙂

Nice to see Walmart showing interest in this. There has been chatter on their new Walmart online community about coupon frustrations. I think it has reached their radar–which will be nice!

Thanks for the survey! So many people have problems using Internet Coupons at Walmart. Hopefully we will see some changes in the near future!

    Have a great day 🙂

I have been very fortunate not to have had any problems at our local Walmarts but I know many others have issues on a constant basis. Thanks for allowing us the chance to help make the system work better!

I believe I am very fortunate. I lived in a small town all my life. Most cashiers remember me, know I am honest, and when I do make a mistake, quick to help me find a really good deal and all. 🙂

I’ve had so many problems with coupons at my local Walmart that I don’t shop there any more unless absolutely necessary. I’m glad that I can take this survey, and I would be thrilled if my store implemented changes to be more coupon-friendly!

I am so glad Walmart is addressing this problem I refuse to shop there unless I have to because of coupons. Last time I went the cashier picked up a coupon I was sent from a company it even had a foil hologram, looked at me and said this is a fake. I told her it was not politely she called a manager they huddled and discussed it being a fake then held it up to the light. Finally they grudgingly let me use it acting like they did me a favor. This then happened with every coupon I had, so embarrassing and I was doing nothing wrong.

When I go to our area’s super WM’s they are total jerk’s about any coupon’s so I stick with my local WM,but it’s not a super center. I do wish they would train all of the cashiers properly then I would not have to look for my favorite cashiers before getting in line.

I don’t recall having any challenges with using Internet coupons at my favorite Walmart. I’m glad too because I already have problems using them at my closest Kroger so I normally just go to a different one to avoid that. Good information, thanks.

I haven’t had any problems with coupons (Internet or otherwise) at my local Walmart. They’re the only store I shop at that allows the customer to scan their own coupons and input information. Dealing with the cashiers can be such a hassle and they’re so slow. I’m going to go and check out the survey. It’s good to know that a company has the customers’ interests at heart.

Thanks for sharing this. I’m glad I’m not the only one with coupon issues. I am boycotting my local Walgreens because of how they handle coupons & rolling RR’s on to your next order.

Thanks for posting this survey! I had major problems at Walmart just the other day and got into an argument with the cashier (who told me I evidently “picked the wrong cashier” since she wasn’t coupon friendly). What????? I should have grabbed my stuff and gone to another line. Instead, I left without purchasing many of the items I wanted because she wouldn’t let me use perfectly legitimate coupons. I really can’t stand Walmart but do TRY to shop there when there are some great coupon match-ups. I’ll think twice about going again unless they train their cashiers to be more coupon-friendly.

      @Allison,
      Hi Allison,
I totally understand where your coming from. I was at Walmart yesterday..on a Sunday which is packed and they wouldn’t accept all my coupons which were legit and then they question you on what your buying..like I’m lying!! I even talked to the manager and mentioned that I thought there policy was to take all coupons because they have in the past. I was so upset that I may shop elsewhere from now on, but I think Target is higher on somethings, unfortunately. I don’t have any problems at Target with coupons and they seem to be nicer people.

  13. Linda says

I hope this is legit because since I took the survey I have been slammed with spam emails and they all try to lure me in with the lure of a coupon so be careful!

  14. Lindsey says

So relieved there was this survey, at least acknowledgement that this IS A PROBLEM! My local CSMs refused to honor my MANUFACTURERS coupons! Stating that Walmart NEVER accepts any coupon that makes an item free. (I had several, ex: save $1 on floss, which costs $.97). I had to put back over 40 items! And was at the register for 2 hours!

  15. kris says

I will be glad to take the WalMart survey. I had a bad experience using coupons and ended up calling the manager of the store. It was a little ridiculous! I had 5 coupons for gain dishwashing liquid. They were .97 cents and I had 5 $1.00 off coupons and was excited to get some great deals and the cashier wouldn’t take all of them and was really giving me a hard time!! I was soo upset and couldn’t believe how hard this was to just purchase them. He wouldn’t take all coupons because he said I was getting a good deal anyway. Now, I shop other stores and only go to WalMart when I have to. The cashiers just don’t seem to thrilled when they see someone with coupons and when they beep at the register..it’s like they don’t believe that you even have the products..very frustrating!! Hope some of you others can relate!!
