The things we do for free food! 🙂
Last night, Whataburger celebrated their 60th Anniversary by giving away free burgers to patrons wearing orange. A color I have exactly NONE of in my wardrobe. But at the last minute, I rallied the family, dug up their best orange duds and headed to Whataburger for a free meal.
I have never actually set foot in a Whataburger. Must be a Texas thang?
As you can see, my husband was thrilled to pose for this picture since he missed out on our cow costumes. Colin was content with a balloon, which he adores. Everyone enjoyed their free meal, and I enjoyed a night off in the kitchen!
Okay I hate to be THAT woman but balloons and toddlers terrify me. They are a big choking hazard. If a small child were to bite it, it could pop and a piece could go in his mouth and choke him. Anyway, your picture is cute and I love the look on your husband’s face:)

Oh, I didn’t mean it like that! I let my son play with one closely supervised too. I just wanted to make sure Alyssa knew in case she didn’t. I’m sorry Alyssa if you took that the wrong way!
@Jaci, No worries at all! I had not considered that, actually, since he never tries to bite them. He just holds them and shakes them happily. Must be a boy thing, because he also goes nuts over anything resembling a ball! He is so different from my girls. 🙂

We went too….after doing some considerable digging for orange clothes! I had to borrow my hubby’s shirt and my daughter wore a recycled pumpkin costume 🙂
