Big news for Rite Aid shoppers! The weekly $5 Challenges for Walgreens and CVS have been so popular over the last few years, I have been wanting to add one for Rite Aid for quite some time.
The trouble is, I live in the-land-of-NO-Rite-Aids and I know NOTHING about shopping there. But of course, I have heard wonderful things about the amazing deals at Rite Aid and their generous coupon policy. Thankfully, a fellow blogger approached me about providing weekly Rite Aid scenarios here on KingdomFirstMom.com, and I gladly accepted.

The CVS and Walgreens $5 Challenges will continue each week as well, and are typically published on Saturday evenings.
I was wondering why Rite Aid was not part of the $5 challenge. I never thought that you don’t have one in your area (duh!). This should be fun, :).
Are you trying for $5 out of pocket AT transaction or AFTER rebates. Even though RA has introduced +UP rewards which makes it easier, there are still single check rebates which help make the deals awesome! It is easy to get FREE and even make profit, but sometimes not so easy to only spend $5 up front.

HI Lynn, For the now it will be $5.00 OOP. Rite aid can be confusing once we start adding in the single check rebates, so I like to think of these as “icing on the cake” for people who are just starting out.
