This month, I am sharing giving ideas and special giveaways as part of The 30-Day Giving Challenge.

The hearing ear and the seeing eye,
The LORD has made them both. ~ Proverbs 20:12

Every adult in my family wears prescription eyeglasses. It is a simple, common need that so many share. One small pair of glasses can have a BIG impact on a life. But a small pair of glasses does not always come with a small price tag.

That is why I am thrilled to partner with JustEyewear.com as the next official sponsor of our challenge.

Ever wonder why glasses are so expensive? So did we. Turns out, they don’t need to cost hundreds of dollars. Just Eyewear offers prescription glasses online for as little as $7.95 – including lenses! Exact same quality, much better prices.

Most everyone has heard of buying contacts online, but not many realize you can buy glasses too. Just like contacts though, you have to know what size you wear and have your prescription handy.

All of our eyeglasses are made right here in the United States by U.S. trained technicians. Not only that, but we’re so confident you’ll love your glasses, we offer a no questions asked, 100% money back guarantee on every pair sold.

Just Eyewear is certainly a frugal alternative to traditional eyewear retailers. And they are offering a chance for two KingdomFirstMom.com readers to own a new pair of prescription glasses!

Disclosure:  Just Eyewear provided me with $100 in gift certificates to donate to the local charity of my choice. As always, the opinions in this post are completely my own.

I would buy me a new pair of glasses! It’s the expense that is preventing me from getting a new pair and I need a new prescription as mine is over 2 years old! This would get me going back to the eye doctor to get testing and I’d finally get me a new pair of glasses.

I’ve never had to wear glasses until this year, and being a single young adult, found out how expensive they are! I would buy myself a pair that I actually like! 🙂

  8. CHRISTINA says

This is so exciting! I’ve never even heard of this company. I currently don’t have vision insurance and have been putting off an eye exam knowing will have to pay full price for exam and glasses. Excited to look more into this company!

Wonderful giveaway . . . my story is much like every other mother . . . I would use this certificate to replace the glasses I have been without for the last 2 years! My kids have glasses and my funds usually go to making sure they have the glasses they need. Same old story!

  14. kris says

I would order my daughter her favorite color of glasses. She is going blind, unfortunately and this would be a great gift to give her!!

  15. Bethany Goff says

This would be an answer to prayer! I passed 40 and am probably needing bifocals, but the money isn’t there. I was able to get a free Pearle Vision eye exam certificate, but this would enable me to actually get glasses, too! What a wonderful giveaway! Thank you, Alyssa, and Just Eyewear!

  16. Jen says

I’d get some prescription sunglasses made. I’ve never had any, and am often frustrated on sunny days trying to wear sunglasses over my regular ones.

  17. linda says

  21. robin says

I subscribe to your feed and I would love to win this I have
Astigmatism and I could really use this to get a new pair of glasses

  22. Carolyn says

I would get new glasses! Haven’t had a new prescription in 9+ years, and I can tell it’s been way overdue. If I’m careful, I might be able to get new frames for one or both kids, too. (They’re covered under their dad’s insurance and have annual exams this week actually.) Thanks for an incredible giveaway!

  23. Carolyn says

It’s been 9+ years since my last eye check, and I can tell I definitely need a vision exam. Thanks for a great giveaway! (Sorry if this is a duplicate – I don’t see my original comment above.)

  24. Agnes Peterson-Read says

I follow your “advice” via email – both of my sons just had eye exams and need to get glasses (ages 5 and 11) and this would be a great blessing to us!! Thanks for all you do!!

  25. Laurie says

They have several frames that maybe I could convince my hubby to wear, so I’d get some for him. He refuses to own a pair of glasses, which is not good when your sight is as poor as his. I live in fear of a raging eye infection or a scratch that will keep him from being able to wear contacts!

  26. says

I would purchase a pair for myself as it’s been 4 years since I have gotten a new pair and my current pair keeps needing to be tightened. If they are that inexpensive I think I could also afford to donate a few pairs as well, win/win!

  27. Netbug says

My aunt, who lives with us, is a hard worker, and during the recession has made most of the income. She’s always so busy taking care of everybody, but she wishes she had enough for new glasses because her old ones are too tight on her. I think she’d be delighted to have $50 for this site. 🙂

    And if there’s any left, I must admit I could use a new pair too! Stuff in the distance is starting to look blurry again. %D;

  28. says

I would probably get myself a pair of glasses. The last pair I got was on a two-fer deal and the other pair went to my oldest son, who definitely needed them. Mine are a little small and the doodads on the side don’t fit right over my ear. And they are single vision, where I need bifocals.

  29. Aubrey Fick says

If I won, I would buy a new pair of glasses. I just got prescription eyeglasses this past year and really don’t feel comfortable in the ones I have purchased. 🙁

  30. Terri L says

I would put it towards glasses for my husband. He is a very hardworker and deserves it very much!

I just did a quick search on their web site…lots of super cute glasses! Love the prices too!

  32. Idis says

i never knew prescription glasses could be so cheap I would love a giftcard so both my husband and i could use them due to debt we skip on everything non-vital and even though we both need prescription glasses for sunglasses we usually stick with the flea market kind thanks for the giveaway!

  33. Jean says

My old eyeglasses do not have bi-focals. When my eye dr. told me I needed not only bi-focals, but tri-focals for reading, computer & distance, I started feelingi overwhelmed! Without eye care insurance, frames & lenses cost over $500!! It is wonderful to find reasonably priced glassses at JustEyewear.com!!! Thanks!

  34. emikom says

I’d get a prescription sunglasses. I can’t drive in the morning since the sun is right on the horizon where I’m driving to.

  35. Norma says

I finally had cataract surgery and have a whole new prescription – I’d get some new glasses at last

  36. sue a says

I have glasses but they are 5 or 6 yrs old and I make my kids read for me. I would use them for me, unless when my husband goes for his checkup he needs them , then I would wait a little longer.
