This month, I am sharing giving ideas and special giveaways as part of The 30-Day Giving Challenge.
We are in the final stretch of the challenge, with a few more fun giveaways to keep you motivated! I am so grateful to all of our generous sponsors. Each one sees the importance of giving to others, especially during this busy holiday shopping season.
Today’s sponsor is New Leaf Publishing who has fulled the mission of glorifying God through the power of the printed word for over thirty-five years. New Leaf Publishing is over Master Books (apologetics, creation science), New Leaf Press (Christian living, inspiration) and Attic Books (Christian reference books from the 18th century). Their products are fabulous for homeschoolers!
I come from a family of book lovers. My children enjoy a small library thanks to generous grandparents. I especially enjoy adding books to their collection which instill Biblical values and truth.
“And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
New Leaf Publishing sent me a fabulous Children’s Book Gift Set that includes:
- Passport to the World
- Charlie & Trike
- Children’s Illustrated Bible (We actually own this book, and it’s fabulous!)
- Dinosaurs for Kids
- Answers for Kids Set
Of course, New Leaf Publishing also has a Children’s Book Gift Set for one of you to share or enjoy! 🙂
To Enter:
- Leave a comment below (required entry): What is your favorite children’s book?
If you are reading via email or in a reader, please click through to the post to enter.
For up to (2) bonus entries:
- Subscribe via RSS or email, and/or follow KingdomFirstMom on Facebook. If you’re already a subscriber (thank you!) simply leave a comment.

This giveaway will end on Sunday (11/28) at 9 p.m. EST. The winner will be drawn randomly, and notified via email.
Disclosure: New Leaf Publishing Group provided me with a Children’s Book Gift Set to donate to someone in need, along with one to give away. As always, the opinions in this post are my own.
The other bloggers leading the 30-Day Giving Challenge are also giving away gift sets. Stop by each of their sites for more chances to win!

Any favorite kids book can quickly become dreaded after the 180th request to read it. One that has lasted for me is The Rhyme Bible Storybook. It has great pictures, a variety of stories you don’t always see in kid’s bibles, and it is well written. They seem to capture the heart of the stories with just a few rhyming lines. And it is big enough that we just read a few different stories each time, so I don’t get sick of it.
For little kids, I love the board book, Good Night Gorilla. Right now I am reading Ginger Pye with my kids and loving it!
My favorite children’s book is Dangerous Journey, a version of Pilgrim’s Progress.
